PRONTO-Xi abstraction layer means that your system will operate identically whichever platform it is based on. PRONTO-Xi can be easily moved from one platform to another should your needs change over time.

 A platform is a specific combination of hardware architecture, operating system and database. PRONTO-Xi main platforms are available on:

• UNIX;
• Linux;
• Windows Server 2003 Operating Systems. 

Databases are offered subject to their availability on the operating system of your choice. Available databases include:

• IBM C-ISAM;
• IBM DB2 (from PRONTO-Xi Phase 5);
• Oracle;
• Microsoft SQL Server.
