Mitre 10 New Zealand Ltd

SDS user since 1990, 120 users.   Mitre 10 is a marketing and buying cooperative of over 120 owner-operated stores throughout New Zealand that was formed in 1974. It is ranked in the top 120 companies in New Zealand.   SDS application software is used on Mitre 10's AS/400 to process the cooperative purchasing functions. A single invoice from a supplier needs to be allocated and invoiced to member stores, and various charges may also need to be apportioned and invoiced.   Mitre 10 New Zealand recently added the 50 plus Hammer Hardware stores to its buying cooperative, and the SDS system processes this workload as well. SDS Ltd support staff have written and installed a hire purchase system, and currently, systems are being introduced to allow stores to access sales and marketing data held in the AS/400. This is being accessed via the Internet.   Mitre 10 strengths in an extremely competitive environment are the enthusiasm of the owner-operator, their ability to provide service, respond to the local market and their commitment to the local community.
